Grand Circus Park anchors both a growing residential neighborhood and the Downtown Detroit entertainment district. Many of the city’s favorite attractions and venues surround the park, including Comerica Park, The Fox Theatre, Detroit Opera House, Ford Field, Little Caesars Arena, and The Fillmore.
Recently upgraded, the park has new seating and guest areas, gardens, a beloved dog park for Downtown residents, and two beautiful historic fountains. Grand Circus Park is also home to free special events of live theater, opera, music, literary readings, and street performances.
KDG’s Park Avenue Building project looks good in the December sunlight now that facades have been cleaned and almost all of the windows are installed. The building was designed by Albert Kahn and completed nearly a century ago in 1923. The fourth image here shows the building in 2017, prior to renovations.
