The DDP manages and programs 18 Downtown Parks and Public Spaces that welcome residents, visitors, and employees, each with its own unique programs, events and dog-friendly spaces. The Downtown Detroit BIZ Ambassadors provide a welcoming, clean, and safe environment. The development and programming of public spaces has helped support an increase in housing, entertainment, businesses. and events to create a vibrant and fun place to live, work, and play.
