Supporting the Workforce

Employees at Downtown Detroit companies have a vibrant and welcoming environment in which to work, supported by the Downtown Detroit BIZ Ambassadors. Thanks to the engaged leadership of the DDP Board and the commitment of Downtown property owners, the eco-system in Downtown Detroit is continually improving and changing with the needs of our collective community. Beautiful public spaces, a vibrant business community, and a variety of sidewalk level businesses all contribute to the critical economic network needed for any community, but also contribute to civic and social interaction necessary for any city or metropolitan area.

There are hundreds of businesses located in Downtown Detroit with thousands of employees commuting, shopping, dining, and taking advantage of the many entertainment options in Downtown Detroit. For more information on employment numbers, explore the MoDD Dashboard and DDP Annual Reports.
