The Downtown Detroit BIZ gathers the business community for exclusive opportunities to learn from and network with peers. These events are also a place where the community can hear from key leaders and organizations from the city, county, and state.
The Downtown Detroit BIZ Annual Meeting of Assessed Property Owners is a part of the October BIZ Board of Directors Meeting. The BIZ is a special assessed public district that received a voter approval in 2014 by owners of assessable properties within the Downtown and the Annual Meeting is a time for them to see their investment at work. The following program updates are made: BIZ Ambassadors, Small Business Engagement, Downtown Detroit Datascape, etc.
Business Roundtables are opportunities to gather first-hand feedback from a select group of business professionals and merchants (i.e. restaurants, retailers, the clergy). Feedback is critical so the BIZ can best apply its resources to help address problems, challenges and issues facing our Downtown establishments.
