The Downtown Detroit Business Improvement Zone (BIZ) builds on its core mission to cultivate a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all by leveraging the collective resources of property owners, the City of Detroit and other stakeholders. The BIZ hosts events to bring together BIZ businesses, organizations, and the community to tell the story of Downtown Detroit.

BIZ Annual Meeting
The 2024 BIZ Annual Meeting will be held during the Tuesday, October 22 Board of Directors Meeting where property owners will see their investment at work through a variety of program updates, including BIZ Ambassadors, Small Business Engagement and Downtown Detroit Datascape.
