Kick-off the holiday season at the 20th Annual Detroit Tree Lighting, held Friday November 17 at 4p inside Campus Martius Park. This family-friendly event is complete with holiday shopping, carriage rides, food trucks, a star-studded entertainment line-up. To find out more about the entertainment schedule, click here. The festivities extend to Beacon Park, which will simultaneously host the Children’s Tree during Light Up Beacon Park.
This year’s festivities will extend throughout the entire weekend with the official opening of The Rink at Campus Martius Park on Nov. 18. There’s plenty of fun for the entire family.
Minors are welcome to attend the Tree Lighting from any approved public area. However, for their safety, minors ages 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult (age 21 or over) while they attend the event.
