Presented by Miller Lite and produced by the Downtown Detroit Partnership, fans are invited to celebrate the Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox matchup at Comerica Park
DETROIT – It’s time to play ball! To celebrate the return of baseball in Detroit this season, fans are invited to an Opening Day Tailgate Party at Grand Circus Park, just steps away from Comerica Park, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 4.
The event is presented by Miller Lite and produced by the Downtown Detroit Partnership. Together, they have stepped up to the plate to deliver the ultimate party that will knock it out of the park.
This FREE public event offers a full day of festivities, great food, refreshing drinks and Detroit’s unbeatable Opening Day spirit. DJ Invisible will keep the energy high with music, while local food trucks serve up delicious bites. Attendees can enjoy ice-cold brews such as Miller Lite, Coors Light, Happy Thursday, Topo Chico Cherry and Leinenkugel Summer Shandy at the Miller Lite beer tent, score exciting giveaways and take part in games–all while watching every pitch, hit and home run live on giant video walls and TV screens. With its electric atmosphere and prime location, Grand Circus Park will be the best place to experience the game outside of Comerica Park.
