Featured Ambassador: Dominique Williams

Meet the Ambassador of the Quarter – Dominque Williams. As we transition into the holiday season and the spirit of giving, our featured Ambassador could not be more appropriate. Dominique, who grew up in Detroit, has been an Ambassador for 5 years. He has earned the reputation of a patient and helpful Ambassador who is willing to go above and beyond to assist any Detroiter in need. This father of 2 growing boys, loves the positive energy of Detroit. His favorite place in the city is the Riverfront, which he loves for its beauty and the showcase of nature it provides.

“Dominique cares about the people in Downtown above and beyond his prescribed duties. He makes it his mission to know everyone who is a part of Downtown Detroit and that they know they are a part of a community that cares about them. He demonstrates that mission through his actions, such as the time he stayed by the side of a person in distress for over an hour until help arrived. Dominique’s spirit is a part of what makes Detroit different and what makes Detroit special.” — Gina Cavaliere Community Impact Officer, Downtown Detroit Partnership and BIZ Director.

When you see him, make sure to stop and say “Hello”!
