The Fall Forum will feature a keynote presented by John Waller, managing director of Gensler Detroit, a leading architecture firm. He will share Gensler’s innovative research study about adaptive reuse, a timely topic as Downtown real estate continues to face growing vacancies in office space. This will be followed by a live panel discussion with Waller, Detroit Economic Growth Corporation President and CEO, Kevin Johnson and DDP CEO Eric B. Larson.

“Each year, the DDP brings together business and industry leaders to share industry trends and real estate updates, as well as the numerous development projects that are completed and in the pipeline,” said Larson. “Our annual Fall Forum event provides insights about Downtown Detroit’s evolving development landscape and is open to anyone to attend.”

Larson will provide a summary of current developments and trending data that have a wide impact on city, regional, and statewide stakeholders. The program will be followed by a post-event reception featuring a Developer Exhibit, providing attendees one-on-one time to speak with developers about their upcoming projects and investments.

Fall Forum attendees will receive an exclusive copy of DDP’s highly anticipated 2023 Downtown Detroit Community and Development Update, which provides an in-depth breakdown of current, pending, and future developments as well as total investments in Downtown Detroit for the current year.
