As a kid I grew up moving around a lot, but my parents were from Michigan and the Detroit area. Every time we visited; I always felt a strong connection to the city. When I eventually moved here when I was younger, I was excited to live in a place that truly felt like home.
Currently, I work in Detroit at Catalyst Media Factory where I’ve had plenty time to explore and learn more about the city.
Downtown Detroit is one of my favorite places to hang out because there’s so much to see and do!
- Downtown Detroit Restaurant: Prime + Proper or Leila (great for date nights!)
- Downtown Detroit Cocktail Lounge: The Monarch Club is so beautiful and offers a rooftop seating/bar to overlook the city.
- Downtown Detroit Cool Spot: Jojos Shake Bar (So delicious and so fun!)
- Downtown Detroit Lunch Spot: Lafayette Coney Island is a classic spot to hit while in Downtown Detroit, for sure!
- Downtown Detroit Retailer: Can never go wrong with the Nike Store.
- Downtown Detroit Experience: Any sporting event! (Especially football games.)
- Downtown Detroit Bar: Tin Roof Detroit has amazing food and drinks, plus it has a great view of Comerica Park.
- Downtown Detroit Activity: Ice skating in the Winter at Campus Martius Park is my favorite!
- Downtown Detroit Scenery/Outdoor: Visiting Campus Martius Park or Walking along the Riverwalk in the Summertime.
