New DDP members enjoyed an evening of connection, community, and fur baby-friendly fun at the DDP’s recent “Sit Stay Networking” Member Mixer hosted by DDP Member Michigan Humane at its Mackey Center for Animal Care at the Dresner Foundation Animal Care Campus off Chrysler Drive. Attendees mingled, toured the impressive facility, and learned about the incredible work Michigan Humane does to care for animals across the region from President and CEO Matt Pepper.
The event included animal-themed crafts, giveaways, and plenty of Detroit Tigers spirit, as guests were encouraged to wear Tigers gear for a chance to win prizes. Guests also donated blankets, towels, and pet food to support Michigan Humane’s mission.
Special thanks to Michigan Humane for opening their doors and to Strategic Staffing Solutions and the Detroit Tigers for helping make the evening extra memorable. The evening was a great reminder of the power of DDP membership and community partnerships.
