The Downtown Detroit BIZ Budget Outline
As a matter of policy, the Downtown BIZ allocates less than 20% of revenue on administration. More than 80% of the funds collected from property owners goes directly to providing services to our stakeholders.
A public hearing on the proposed FY2026-2027 General Appropriations Act (the proposed budget) was held during the regular meeting of the Downtown BIZ Board of Directors on June 9, 2026, at 9 a.m.
