About the Beach

The Beach at Campus Martius Park is a sun-soaked oasis that welcomes visitors May through October. This uniquely Detroit experience is a perfect place to build sandcastles with the kids, take in live music, people watch, and enjoy a frozen cocktail with friends.

Park Events

Our six Downtown Detroit Parks — Campus Martius Park, Beacon Park, Cadillac Square, Capitol Park, Woodward Esplanade, and Grand Circus Park — provide visitors and residents with cultural experiences, programs, events, and activities throughout the year.
