Campus Kids Day Presented By Corewell Health

Campus Kids Days presented by Corewell Health returns to Campus Martius Park for summer 2026! Families are invited to enjoy this free series of fun-filled Sundays featuring themed entertainment, interactive activities and engaging experiences for kids of all ages. It’s the perfect way to make the most of a Sunday in the heart of Downtown Detroit. Our Campus Kids Day event series is presented by Corewell Health and supported in part by The Detroit Zoo. Detroit CHEMpreneurist will also be in attendance at all Campus Kids Day events, bringing fun in the sun with unique activations and stations. 

Events run from 1–5 p.m. on select Sundays, July 12 through October 4.

August 9: Back to School Bash

Join the Downtown Detroit Partnership and Corewell Health for Campus Kids Days: Back to School Bash, the perfect way to wrap up summer with a day of family fun before the first school bell rings!

Get ready for a day packed with family-friendly activities, including:

• Giveaways from Birdie’s Bookmobile and more
• Backpack Giveaways courtesy of Corewell Health
• A make-and-take station courtesy of Metro Parent
• A crayon themed bounce house
• An Interactive activity with Detroit CHEMpreneurist where attendees can create a custom hand soap to take home
• Baseball on the big screen starting at 5:05 p.m.
• Lawn games
• Ticket Giveaways Including:
  • Disney on Ice on 9/17 courtesy of 313 Presents  
  • Sesame Street Live on 11/8 courtesy of 313 Presents
• A Free Faygo Float Station
• And plenty more family friendly fun

September 13: Harvest Hangout

Join the Downtown Detroit Partnership and Corewell Health for Campus Kids Day: Harvest Hangout for an un-be-leaf-able afternoon of family fun! Celebrate the changing season with hands-on activities, games and plenty of fall-inspired fun in the heart of Downtown Detroit.

Get ready for a day packed with family-friendly activities, including:

• Tigers vs. Rockies on the big screen starting at 1:40 p.m.
• A fall-themed craft station courtesy of Metro Parent
• Giveaways from Birdie’s Bookmobile
• Detroit CHEMpreneurist Innovation Station: Prototyping with a Purpose! Design and create your own fidget toy while exploring STEAM, creativity and problem-solving through a hands-on make-and-take activity
• The Michigan DNR Outdoor Adventure Center invite families to discover all the fun fall has to offer in Michigan, from vibrant fall colors and cider-making traditions to outdoor adventures
• The Boll Family YMCA is bringing the fun with Y on the Fly, featuring sports sampling and free play led by experienced coaches and former collegiate athletes
• Harvest-themed bounce house fun
• Lawn games
• And plenty more family-friendly fun!
