Downtown Detroit Partnership Signature Events are produced in their entirety by the DDP team throughout the year to convene more than 2,000 business executives, corporate partners, thought leaders, change-makers and government officials annually to share DDP's impact across Downtown Detroit and beyond.
Detroit Tree Lighting
On November 22, Downtown Detroit will be brimming with the sights and sounds of the holidays at the 21st Annual Detroit Tree Lighting presented by DTE Energy Foundation and produced by the DDP.
Detroit Aglow (Sold Out)
Detroit Aglow presented by Amazon has sold out! This annual fundraiser serves as a kick-off to the holiday season, and this year's 40th anniversary theme is Aglow for 40 Years: Celebrating Connections. While tickets are sold out, you can still support the DDP by making a tax-deductible donation.
Annual Meeting
DDP held its 2024 Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 22 at MGM Grand Detroit. Thanks to an incredible lineup of speakers — Mike Tirico, Roger Penske and Daniel J. Loepp. During the meeting, the audience learned about their passion and advocacy for Detroit.
Party in the Park
The DDP held its summer fundraiser, Party in the Park, on August 15, 2024 at the award-winning Campus Martius Park. It featured networking opportunities with board members, stakeholders, and Michigan leaders in business, government, and philanthropic sectors.
