Safety Ambassadors will patrol the city on bike as a deterrent to and being on the lookout for unwanted behavior and activity, while providing information, assistance and directions to downtown workers, residents and visitors.

Step-by-Step Instructions to Apply Online:
- Web Address: apply.blockbyblock.com
When you are searching for our web address online make sure that you use the main search bar (not a google search) and delete out any http or www in front of our web address. If you do not, it will take you to our short form application and we need for you to get to the full online application. - When you get to the full online application you want to click the START ICON on the screen to the left for New Users.
- You will be asked to create a username and password as well as answering 5 log-in questions.
Please make sure to save all of log-in information as you will need it later on to get back into your application to do direct deposit information if you are hired. - Last but not least, our application does not work on a cell phone or tablet you have to use a laptop or desktop computer.
