The Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP) is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver high quality construction management services for tenant improvements to its existing Ambassador Satellite Location at 1420 Broadway, Suite 101, Detroit, making it the new BIZ Ambassador Headquarters and Operations Center. The second pre-proposal meeting will occur Wednesday, November 27 at 8:30 a.m. at the location (1420 Broadway, Suite 101).
2024 Broadway Buildout RFP Questions and Answers
Q: Will parking be provided (approximately 4-5 vehicles)?
A: DDP will provide parking passes to the adjacent parking structure, that will be returned upon completion of the project.
Q: Are there any other egress points to remove debris other than the front and courtyard door?
A: There are no other egress points.
Q: Is there anywhere to place a dumpster?
A: We recommend the vendor reach out to the city’s municipal parking department to reserve parking spaces in front of the building.
Q: Are we allowed to secure existing contents in one location?
A: Yes, all furniture we remain in the space, it is on the contractor to secure the assets. Any furniture moved should be moved back to its original location.
Q: Will we have access to shut off water?
A: DDP will coordinate with the property management to access water when needed.
Q: Are there plumbing drawings available?
A: DDP is working with property management to locate drawings and if received, will be provided before construction.
