2025 HOLIDAY ADVENTURE CARD PROMOTION OFFICIAL RULES & GUIDELINES
PROMOTION: The Holiday Adventure Card Promotion (the “Promotion”) shall commence at 9:00am ET on November 29, 2025. The Promotional Eligibility Period shall begin November 29, 2025 at 9:00am ET and shall end at 7:00pm ET on December 23, 2025. The sponsor of the Promotion is the Downtown Detroit Partnership, located at 1000 Woodward Ave, Suite #380, Detroit, MI 48226 (“Sponsor”). In the event of a conflict between the entry instructions and these Official Rules & Guidelines (the “Official Rules”), these Official Rules shall control. The clock located on the computer system used by Sponsor shall govern with respect to the commencement and end times for the Promotion Eligibility Period, and the time and date of the receipt of each Promotion Entry. This Promotion is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and void where prohibited by law. For purposes of these Official Rules, the person who submits the Entry into the Promotion is referred to as the “Participant” or “You”.
ELIGIBILITY: This Promotion is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of Sponsor and each of their employees, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, and directors (collectively the “Employees”), as well as members of an Employees’ immediate family and/or those living in the same household of Employees are ineligible to participate in the Promotion. Proof of eligibility will be required when claiming any Prize. Participants may be asked to provide more information for Sponsor to confirm the identity and eligibility of a Participant. Sponsor makes the final determination at its sole discretion as to who is eligible to participate and/or win the Promotion. Participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.
HOW TO ENTER: To submit a valid entry, Participants must do all of the following: 1) Pick Up Your Card: Participants can pick up a Downtown Holiday Adventure Card at The Rink at Campus Martius Park presented by Lexus, Cadillac Square Lodge or any of the 40 participating businesses during the Promotion Eligibility Period during their respective hours of operation. There are only 2500 Holiday Adventure Cards and they will be made available and provided only for as long as supplies last. SUPPLY IS LIMITED. 2) Shop & Earn Stickers: As You make purchases at participating downtown businesses, You must present Your Holiday Adventure Card and the merchant will provide You with a scratch-off sticker that will reveal instant incentives (discounts, freebies, or special offers). PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION AND THE AMOUNT OR NATURE OF ANY DISCOUNTS, INCENTIVES OR OFFERS IS AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF EACH BUSINESS. You are responsible for putting the sticker on Your Holiday Adventure Card. 3) Complete Your Card: Once You have collected 7 stickers from different participating businesses, your Downtown Holiday Adventure Card is considered complete. 4)Submit Your Card: Completed Downtown Holiday Adventure Cards must be submitted at the Gardner White Home Store at 1201 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48226 during the Promotional Eligibility Period to be entered into the Holiday Adventure Promotion (“Entry”). Each Participant is eligible to submit one Entry. An Entry must be submitted during the Promotional Eligibility Period to be considered valid. Sponsor reserves the right to extend the Promotional Eligibility Period in Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Entry must fulfill all Promotion requirements to be eligible to win a Prize. Any Entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, or does not adhere to the Official Rules is void and will not be given further consideration or be otherwise eligible for the Prize. By entering the Promotion, Participants certify that they followed and complied with these Official Rules.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: By entering this Promotion, the Participants have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to abide by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are fully and unconditionally binding in all respects. The Sponsor reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any Entry at any time at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion and these Official Rules without notice. By entering this Promotion, Participants represent and warrant that they are eligible to participate based on the eligibility requirements set forth in the Official Rules. Participants also agree to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to this Promotion.
PRIZES: There will be three winners of the Promotion (“Winners”), who will be selected at random to receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes (the “Prize” or “Prizes”). The first place Prize is a gift card for Gardner White at 1201 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48226 for Five Thousand Dollars ($5000.00), The second place Prize consists of a combination of gifts cards and merchandise and is valued at approximately One Thousand Seven Hundred and Nine Dollars ($1709.00) and is expected to include two Gift Cards for $250.00 each from Elia Group, Heritage Ray Ban Sunglasses valued at $295.00, a DCFC Jersey valued at $90.00, a One Night Stay at Cambria Hotel valued at $299.00, a Cibo Gift Card for $100.00, an American Coney Kit & Gift Card valued at $75.00, a Gift Card for The Lip Bar for $50.00, and Two Red Wings Tickets (Digital) valued at $300.00. The third place Prize consists of a combination of gifts cards and merchandise and is valued at approximately One Thousand Four Hundred and Thirty Dollars ($1430.00) and is expected to include two Gift Cards for $250.00 each from Elia Group, a Simmons & Clark Gift Certificate for $100.00, a Fanatics U Lions Hat & Tee valued at $55.00, a One Night Stay with Parking at the Athenium Hotel valued at $400.00, a Pegasus Gift Card for $100.00, a Gift Certificate for $25.00 for The Old Shillelagh, a Gift Card for the Social Brews for $25.00, a Rebel Nell Gift Card for $25.00, a Greyson Gift Card for $200.00. The actual/appraised value may differ at time of Prize award. The specifics of the Prizes shall be solely determined by Sponsor at its sole discretion.
PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: No cash or other Prize substitutions shall be permitted except Sponsor may substitute any portion of a Prize with a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. The Prizes are nontransferable. WINNERS AGREE TO ACCEPT ALL ASPECTS OF THE PRIZES “AS IS” AND SPONSOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OF TITLE, MERCHANTIBILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ALL TAXES, FEES, COSTS AND EXPENSES OF WHATEVER NATURE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION SALES TAXES, PERMITS, AND INSURANCE SHALL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNERS, AS WELL AS ALL CURRENT AND FUTURE TAXES, COSTS, FEES, INSURANCE, AND EXPENSES RELATING TO ANY ASPECT OF THE PRIZE. All federal, state, and/or local taxes, and all other expenses not specifically mentioned shall be the sole responsibility of Winners. No substitution of the Prizes or transfer/assignment of the Prizes to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winners is permitted.
ODDS: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Three Winners will be selected by Sponsor at its sole discretion. Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible Entries on December 26, 2025 at approximately 1:00pm in the following order: The first drawing will determine the third Prize Winner, the second drawing will determine the second Prize Winner and the third and final drawing will determine the first Prize Winner. Winners will be announced on Sponsor’s official social media channels and contacted directly by phone or email. A Winner must respond within 14 days of notification to claim their prize. Sponsor shall have no liability for a Winner’s failure to receive or review the notification or otherwise learn that they won a Prize. If a Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the Prize within 14 days, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by a Winner of a Prize offered in this Promotion is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and these Official Rules. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY A WINNER (at Sponsor’s sole discretion) WILL RESULT IN THE WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS A WINNER OF THE PROMOTION, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, participation in the Promotion constitutes the consent of each Participant to Sponsor’s and its respective agents’ understanding and agreement that Sponsor, anyone acting on behalf of Sponsor, and Sponsor’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, the Participant’s Entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Promotion, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. Participants agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor against any claims that arise out of a claimed infringement of intellectual property rights.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion should a virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Promotion. In such case, Sponsor may select the Winner(s) from all eligible Entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or violates these terms and conditions or the Official Rules. Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Promotion, to void Entries for any reason including, but not limited to multiple Entries from the same person. Any attempt by a Participant to deliberately damage or alter any Entry or otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
GENERAL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating in this Promotion and/or accepting a Prize, Participants warrant and represent that they agree to be bound by these Official Rules (including all eligibility requirements) and the decisions of the Sponsor and its agents, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Participants on behalf of themselves and their heirs, assignees, executors, and administrators agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any and all liability, illness, injury, including but not limited to personal injury and bodily injury (including without limitation wrongful death or disability), death, loss, litigation, claim, or property damage, or loss or damage of any other kind that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) Participants’ participation in the Promotion and/or their acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any Prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of Entries; and (vi) any Promotion-related activity. If, in the exclusive judgment of the Sponsor, the Promotion becomes compromised in any way, Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw the Promotion offer and select a Winner from all eligible Entries received prior to the act that compromised the Promotion. Any attempt to deliberately damage or subvert the Promotion or its operation is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsor or its agents. PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION AND THE AMOUNT OR NATURE OF ANY DISCOUNTS, INCENTIVES OR OFFERS IS AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF EACH BUSINESS. SPONSOR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN A PARTICIPANT AND DETROIT BUSINESS, INCLUDING ANY PARTICIPATING BUSINESS. Should the Promotion be terminated prior to the last day of the Promotional Period, notice will be provided via Sponsor’s official social media channels and website.
DISPUTES: THIS PROMOTION IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF MICHIGAN WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Promotion, Participants agree that: (i) any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any prize awarded, or the determination of a Winner, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Michigan; (ii) to the fullest extent permitted by law, waives any right to a jury trial in any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, or any prize awarded, or the determination of a Winner; and (iii) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred but in no event attorney’s fees. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall the Participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waive all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than Participants’ actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Promotion). Participants further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. PARTICIPANTS ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION AND THE AMOUNT OR NATURE OF ANY DISCOUNTS, INCENTIVES OR OFFERS IS AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF EACH BUSINESS. SPONSOR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN A PARTICIPANT AND DETROIT BUSINESS, INCLUDING ANY PARTICIPATING BUSINESS.
PRIVACY POLICY: Information submitted with an Entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Sponsor’s Website.
WINNER LIST: A Winner’s name may be shared on Sponsor’s official social channels and/or posted on the Sponsor’s Website. Participants may also request Winners’ names via mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope and a request for the list to: Downtown Detroit Partnership, Holiday Adventure Card Promotion, 1000 Woodward Ave, Suite #380, Detroit, Michigan 48826, no later than March 1, 2026.
