The installation features ten gyroscope-like structures\, each standing six feet (1.8 meters) tall. At the center of each structure is a dichroic film that reflects sunlight during the day and refracts the inner ring’s lighting at dusk\, creating a constantly shifting display of color and light. As the audience rotates each unit\, they create their own endless cascade of colors. Learn the basics of non-partner dance styles like hustle\, line dancing and ballroom with an experienced instructor in a beautiful outdoor space. The free double feature is presented through a dynamic partnership between the Windsor International Film Festival (WIFF) and the Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP). \nThis unique cinematic event is part of a broader Windsor–Detroit binational collaboration initiative\, an effort focused on deepening cultural exchange\, increasing regional connectivity and fostering shared economic opportunity between two globally minded border cities. The program officially kicks off\, leading to the symbolic lighting of the Unity candle at sunset (around 5:00 pm). \nDAILY LIGHTING: Don’t miss the daily lighting of the Kinara\, happening promptly between 5:00 pm and 5:15 pm.
