Parktoberfest Presented By Visit Detroit

Break out the lederhosen and dirndls! The Downtown Detroit Partnership is kicking off fall early with its 9th annual Downtown Parktoberfest presented by Visit Detroit and supported by Faygo. Enjoy the fall vibes with a great selection of craft seasonal and Oktoberfest beers. Revelers can also partake in a variety of traditional Oktoberfest games, such as stein hoisting and keg lifting or enjoy live music, photo displays and live dance demonstrations.

New this year, The Michigan Lottery will host the Lucky Lottery Minute, randomly giving away free $5 lottery tickets to Parktoberfest attendees (age 18 and older). Visitors can increase their chances of winning big by stopping by the Michigan Lottery Truck to purchase their favorite Michigan Lottery games and scratch-off tickets.

If beer isn’t your thing, you can head to the Faygo Root Biergarten, where you can enjoy delicious ice cream floats for FREE courtesy of Faygo.

The 10th Annual Downtown Parktoberfest runs from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9; and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10.
